Ministry of Education Confirms Support for MIL

The Ministry of Education has confirmed its support for disseminating the concepts of Media and Information Literacy (MIL) at its schools and offering all facilities that ensure the continuation of the MIL project. This is in view of its impact on enabling students to possess the skills of critical thinking and consciously understand the content produced by the media and posted on social media websites.

International Training Program for Directors of Photography Begins at JMI

A training program titled "International Directors of Photography License" has begun at the Jordan Media Institute (JMI). The program is implemented by the JMI, in cooperation with the Hourglass Foundation, BINCAM, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Photographers from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iraq are taking part.

Delegation From Faculty of Mass Communication at Yarmouk University Visits JMI

The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) received a student delegation from the Public Relations Department, Faculty of Mass Communication, at Yarmouk University, accompanied by Dr. Khalaf Tahat, deputy dean of the faculty. JMI Takes Part in Training More Than 100 Students at Al Hussein Youth Camps

The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) held two training workshops on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) at the female scout camp in the Amman House for Youth. The training included 58 female students aged 12 to 16. Another training session was held at the Saru House for Youth. It included 58 students aged 14 to 18.

Libyan Politician Gives Lecture at JMI

Libyan politician Aref Nayed, head of the Libya Stabilization Team and former ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, has expressed optimism about holding parliamentary and presidential elections in his country next year.
