Higher Commission Renews Special Accreditation for JMI

July 30, 2015<br /> <br /> The Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC) has renewed its special accreditation of the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) Master&rsquo;s Degree Program in Journalism and New Media. The decision was made during a commission meeting, last week chaired by its President Dr. Bashir Al Zu&rsquo;bi.<br /> <br /> The renewed special accreditation was part of HEAC&rsquo;s periodic review of the degree of commitment by higher education institutions to academic standards and their ability to provide adequate facilities and faculty.<br /> JMI&rsquo;s academic programs were developed in cooperation with leading U.S., British, French and German media institutions, as well as Jordanian and Arab experts. These programs undergo regular review and development.<br /> <br /> The institute is one of the best academic and training facilities in the region, housing modern media equipment and radio and television studios, in addition to an exemplary team of Arab and Jordanian academics.<br /> &nbsp;
