Jordan Media Institute (JMI) has concluded a photojournalism workshop for students of the comprehensive and thesis tracks of its Master’s program. The training, in cooperation with the Norwegian Institute of Journalism (IJ), focused on helping students understand the main elements and pillars of photography, and particularly how to seek the natural light and how best to utilize it in confined places.
The sessions were led by Norwegian Press Photographer Tom Egil who showed the students how to better communicate and tell stories through photos while reflecting the human element.
This is Egil’s third workshop at JMI in as many years and is the result of a long-term partnership with IJ which also includes organizing academic trips for JMI students to Norway.
