A video and lighting workshop has started at Jordan Media Institute (JMI), for Diploma graduates interested in improving their skills to obtain a job in the industry. The workshop in collaboration with Global Communities under the MENA Youth Empowerment Strategy (MENA-YES) program is scheduled to end on 21 March, with two classes per week.<br />

During the sessions, the 25 young women and men, will learn the basic TV filming skills, including roles and responsibilities of the videographer.<br />
<br />
They will also learn sound and editing techniques and will be expected to produce stories at the end of the workshop.<br />
<br />
The workshop will also help them acquire communication and presentation skills as well as how to write a CV in order to increase their chances of finding a job.<br />
