The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) organized a seminar on "Future of Sports Press," in cooperation with the International Sports Press Association (AIPS). Gianni Merlo, president of AIPS, and an international expert on sports press spoke at the seminar, which was attended by MA students at JMI and the journalists taking part in covering the FIFA U-17 Women World's Cup in Amman. Merlo said that sports press is committed to the values of professional work, key of which are accuracy, balance, and impartiality. He explained the difference between sports press and other specialized types of press. <br />
