Lina Al Ejeilat holds a master’s degree in Journalism/New Media from Columbia University in the US and a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Jordan. She is co-founder and executive editor of the online magazine 7iber.
Ejeilat started her professional career as a staff writer in JO Magazine, after which she worked as a financial reporter for Thomson Reuters in Amman. She has trained with several organizations and institutions, including the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the International Center for Journalists, the Anna Lindh Foundation, UNHCR and the British Council. Her courses focus on multimedia storytelling (photography, audio, video and data visualization), social media for journalists and the basics of web publishing.
