Project: Building the Capacity in Appearing and Engaging with Traditional Media for Ifta’a Department Staff

Objectives:

The project aims at developing and enhancing the capabilities of the General Ifta’a Department’s media unit to produce audiovisual content (television, video and radio). Also, to enable the staff to interact with the media and acquire the profession’s skills, in order to perform their duties effectively.

Project Description:

The project entailed:

  1. Assessing the training needs of the Ifta’a Department’s media team.
  2. Creating a training plan and content according to these needs, then implementing the plan.

Project Outputs:

  1. Implementing a number of training programs and workshops for General Ifta’a Department employees on: presentation skills and television talk shows; video journalism; basics of television production; radio presentation and production; media literacy; and skills for interacting with the media, in which around 65 trainees benefited.
