Dr. Naglaa El Emary holds a doctorate in media studies from Universite Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) in France, and a master’s degree in Mass Communication Studies from Egypt’s Cairo University.
She is a consultant, media expert and professor at the British University in Egypt and worked as a professor at University of Sorbonne (Paris IV) and the University of Aix-en-Provence in France. El Emary began her professional career as a reporter and presenter at the BBC, where she worked for over 15 years. She was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of BBC Arabic Radio in London, then BBC World Service Cairo Bureau Chief and Middle- East Special Projects Editor and Training Manager in Cairo. She has published many articles and research papers on Arab media.
