Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali, the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) celebrated the graduation of the seventh intake of MA students of journalism and new media. It included 26 male and female students from Jordan, Palestine and Iraq. Dr. Basim Tweissi, JMI dean, delivered a speech at the ceremony, in which he said that JMI graduates are currently in around 20 countries worldwide and work at more than 60 media establishments. He said that JMI managed to build a good reputation on the national, regional, and international levels. This is based on strong commitment to quality of education and adherence to high standards. <br />

Dr. Nabil al-Khatib, news director at Al Arabiya TV, was the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony. He reviewed challenges facing fresh graduates in media and television work. <br />
