JMI Signs Population Media and Communications Agreement

<strong>19 August 2015</strong><br /> &nbsp;<br /> Represented by its Dean, Dr. Basim Tweissi, Jordan Media Institute (JMI) signed an agreement with Dr. Ayman AbdulMohsen, the Chief of Party for The Jordan Communication, Advocacy and Policy project (JCAP),&ldquo;Tawasol&rdquo;, a USAID-funded activity executed with the Higher Population Council, to conduct a population media and communications study for the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV).<br /> &nbsp;<br /> The study aims at reviewing and assessing the current status of the Production and Population Communications Unit at JRTV, and conducting a feasibility study to investing in developing this unit and its effectiveness in reaching out to the Jordanian community and involving them in sculpting the media policy of the corporation, and hence the broadcast industry in Jordan.
