Jordan Media Institute Celebrates Graduation of Young Videographers

<div style="text-align: justify;"><strong>24 April 2016</strong><br /> <br /> After an intensive three-month training workshop, Jordan Media Institute (JMI) celebrated the graduation of 26 young men and women who took part in video production training. The sessions were held in cooperation with Global Communities under the MENA Youth Empowerment Strategy (MENA-YES) Program.<br /> <br /> JMI Projects and Training Director, Yasar Durra, said the workshops, which were in line which JMI&rsquo;s mission, provided youth with needed videography skills which will help them secure jobs in the industry. He hailed the young group&rsquo;s readiness to acquire new skills on the personal and professional levels.<br /> <br /> MENA-YES Program Coordinator, Hala Foudeh, said the organization helps youth identify their priorities and implement their goals. She stressed the importance of the partnership with JMI in order to provide youth with training and capacity-building opportunities to achieve their goals.<br /> <br /> The graduates presented videos &nbsp;they had produced during the workshops with trainee Tareq Kiswani &nbsp;noting how the workshop, which included communication and presentation skills, gave him the courage to pursue a career in video and filmmaking.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</div>
