26 November 2012 Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali, founder of Jordan Media Institute JMI, and in the presence of Ambassador of Sweden Charlotta Sparre, the photo exhibition “In the streets of Jordan, things as they are” opened its doors to the public yesterday. The exhibition shows photos by JMI’s students alongside Jordanian photo journalists who participated in a five days photojournalism workshop that was held at JMI and conducted by Swedish photojournalist Mia Grondahl in cooperation with the Swedish Institute. The photos include portraits, photo stories and coverage of events in Amman following the announcement of higher gas prices. The exhibition is displayed at Ras Alain Art Gallery until Friday 30 November 2012
