Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali said it was vital to provide journalists with continuous training to help them overcome the challenges they face in a constantly developing profession. Speaking on Jordan’s Roya television channel on Friday, 6 November, Princess Rym, founder of Jordan Media Institute, said in order for journalists to excel they need to be able to use the new technology and digital media but also check and analyze information and ensure good, accurate and responsible content. <br />
Her Highness, who was the main guest on Roya’s popular morning program <em>Helwa Ya Dunia</em>, also spoke about JMI’s media monitoring <em>Akeed</em> reports that seek to ensure good media content and support people’s right to accurate information.<br />

Princess Rym also addressed the role of the Royal Film Commission (RFC) in promoting Jordan and developing an internationally competitive Jordanian film industry. Her Highness is member of RFC’s board of commissioners.<br />
