A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between JMI- Jordan Media Institute and ASBU- The Tunis based Arab States Broadcasting Union for cooperation in the field of journalism training. ASBU Director General Mr. Slaheddin Maaoui and Mr. Radi Alkhas, JMI Chairman signed the memorandum in the presence of JMI founder HRH Princess Rym Ali.
Princess Rym led the visiting delegation for a tour of JMI’s state of the art facilities used for training journalists at the institute.
JMI was established in 2008 to provide journalism training in Jordan combining rigorous academic education and practical hands-on training.
ASBU – The Arab States Broadcasting Union is an Arab League Organization established in 1969 to enhance cooperation between its members, the Arab Broadcasters. ASBU has played a vital role in developing an Arab News Exchange among numerous other initiatives bonding Arab broadcasters.
